Sunny Deol may have a surprise appearance in Ramayana: Rise of Legend
A source tells India Today Digital that the film might include a brief appearance of Lord Hanuman despite the character being central to the sequel.
Audiences might see a surprise appearance of Lord Hanuman in the film Ramayana: Rise of Legend, according to a report by India Today Digital. While Sunny Deol plays the character, the first instalment is unlikely to feature him as a full-fledged character.
The film's structure reserves the Kishkindha Kand of Valmiki's Ramayana, which introduces Hanuman, for the second instalment. Sunny Deol has already begun shooting for Part II of the project.
A source close to the production told India Today Digital that the makers have concealed the Hanuman appearance. The source added that while Deol's look might not be completely unveiled, there could be something to make audiences cheer.
The first part will focus on the marriage of Rama and Sita, their journey into the forest with Lakshman, the rise of Ravana's reign, and the abduction of Goddess Sita.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. The cast also includes Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Arun Govil as Dashrath, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha, Vivek Oberoi as Vidyutjeeva, and Adinath Kothare as Bharat.
Ramayana: Rise of Legend is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5 during Diwali.
