Fans speculate on RJ Mahvash comments regarding Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma
Social media users have linked a radio jockey's story about a cheating fiancé to the divorce of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.
Social media users have begun speculating whether RJ Mahvash was referring to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal after she spoke about a man who allegedly cheated on his pregnant wife, according to Siasat.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mahvash recalled an engagement from when she was 19. She said her former fiancé cheated on her three times and later married another woman.
Mahvash stated that the man eventually got divorced because he was unfaithful to his wife during her pregnancy. She said, “Ones a Cheater always a cheater and nothing can change that."
An Instagram post paired Mahvash's clip with a photograph of Chahal and his former wife, choreographer Dhanashree Verma. This has led internet users to assume she was discussing Chahal.
The divorce between Chahal and Dhanashree was finalised in March 2025. Chahal previously spoke on the Baith & Bol podcast with Aakash Chopra about his life after the divorce.
Chahal said his drinking became harder to manage after the divorce. He noted that he checked himself into rehab for 26 days to focus on his cricket career.
