Union Minister Jitendra Singh alleges CJP receives anti-India funding

The Union Minister claimed that activists are being funded by unauthorised sources and foreign-funded NGOs, according to The Tribune.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh has alleged that activists from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) are receiving funds from anti-India organisations both within and outside the country. Speaking to the media in Bengaluru, Singh claimed there is evidence that Abhijeet Dipke is being funded by unauthorised sources.

Singh stated that foreign-funded NGOs and anti-India forces are manufacturing certain narratives. He further alleged that Abhijeet Dipke has been receiving funds from USA-based donors, and that Ashutosh Ranka was paid by Pakistani politicians, according to The Tribune.

Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge responded to allegations of foreign funding by questioning the evidence provided by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kharge questioned the competence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and intelligence agencies including the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

Kharge said that if the BJP is claiming the Congress is funded by foreign agencies without producing evidence, it reflects on the competence of the mentioned leaders and agencies. He backed a challenge by Rahul Gandhi for an open debate on foreign funding involving the Congress, BJP, and RSS, suggesting RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat moderate the discussion.

Communist Party of India (CPI) MP P Sandosh Kumar also criticised the ruling BJP, accusing the government of using foreign funding allegations to discredit public protests. Kumar told ANI that such allegations have become a main agenda for the BJP whenever a protest occurs in the country.
