Rajouri administration restricts firecracker sales before Diwali

Vendors must obtain valid authorisation and sell fireworks only at designated locations to comply with safety measures, according to the Daily Excelsior.

The Rajouri district administration has placed limits on the sale of firecrackers in preparation for Diwali, according to the Daily Excelsior.

Authorities have mandated that vendors can only sell fireworks at specific sites after securing valid authorisation and meeting compulsory safety requirements.

In Rajouri town, the Old Bus Stand has been named the only permitted area for these sales.

The administration stated that selling firecrackers at unauthorised locations or without permission will result in legal action.

These measures are intended to regulate the sale of fireworks and ensure safety protocols are followed during the festival.
