Tamil Nadu CM Vijay and Trisha attend wedding reception in Chennai
The actors were seen posing with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the event for YS Anil Reddy's daughter.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan attended the wedding reception of YS Anil Reddy’s daughter in Chennai on Thursday, according to The Indian Express and Moneycontrol. Vijay was accompanied by his mother, Shobha Chandrashekhar, while Trisha also joined the event.
Videos circulating online show the two actors smiling and posing with the newlyweds. Vijay wore a brown suit and Trisha was dressed in a pink saree. The Chief Minister was also seen interacting and posing for photographs with former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Other attendees included BRS Working President KT Rama Rao and his wife, Shailima. Trisha, who has described Vijay as a close friend, has previously attended his swearing-in ceremony and his first Independence Day parade as Chief Minister.
The two actors have recently made several public appearances together, including at a wedding reception in March and at the Michelin Le Mans Cup in the United Kingdom in September. While there has been speculation regarding their relationship, the two actors have denied any such rumours.
On the professional front, Jana Nayagan, released in July, was Vijay’s last film as an actor. Trisha was recently seen in the film Karuppu alongside Suriya and RJ Balaji.
