Police in western Turkey have launched a large-scale manhunt for a suspect following a series of shootings that left eight people dead and one person seriously injured on Thursday, according to BBC News.
The attacks occurred in the Afyonkarahisar province, where victims were discovered in three different vehicles. The Anadolu Agency reported that three people died near Ayazini village and another three died near Kiyir village.
In Yukaritandir, two women sustained injuries and subsequently passed away at a hospital. CCTV footage released by Turkish media showed a man wearing a black jacket, white trousers, and glasses holding a long weapon while standing by a red minivan.
