Tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson dies in Florida private plane crash

A social media post made by Robinson has resurfaced following the fatal accident that killed him, his wife, and two children.

Tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson, 45, died on Sunday, November 1, 2026, when a private plane crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, according to the Times of India.

Robinson, who was the founder and CEO of Retention.com, RB2B, and Moltsets, was travelling with his wife Helen Sharp, their children Emma and Charlie, family nanny Anita Maria Cetina, and family friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr.

The Federal Aviation Administration stated the Learjet 60 was en route to North Eleuthera in the Bahamas when the crash occurred, killing all nine people on board, including two crew members.

A sarcastic remark Robinson posted on X on July 19, 2023, has resurfaced online following the accident. During a discussion about software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies, he had written, “I guess I'm dead.”

Reuters reported that cockpit communications indicated the crew encountered moderate turbulence and light clear icing before declaring an emergency. The aircraft reportedly began a rapid descent and the crew issued a mayday call after reporting an overspeed condition.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has started an investigation into the crash to determine the cause.
