The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Kommineni Akash. He was working at a reputed company and had settled in the United States several years ago.
Akash was the son of Kommineni Kalyan Chakravarthy and Padma. His father, Kalyan Chakravarthy, is the elder son of the late Dr Kommineni Sheshagiri Rao, a resident of Ponnur.
Dr Sheshagiri Rao had two sons and two daughters before he passed away several years ago. The news of the accident has left relatives and local residents in Ponnur in shock.
