Actor Saif Ali Khan revealed that his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, follows a strict rule of not engaging in conversations after 10 pm once she is in bed. Speaking on the ninth season of Koffee With Karan, as reported by The Times of India, Khan shared that he did not initially understand this habit.
Khan said he spent a couple of years wondering if he had done something to upset her when she became quiet. He recalled that he would often ask himself why she was not saying anything or if something was wrong, before realising she simply did not want to talk.
Kareena Kapoor Khan explained that the period after 10 pm is her downtime. She added that she is only entertaining in the morning.
Khan described her morning routine as having high energy, involving phone conversations and updates about her surroundings. He noted that he sometimes waits for her to take a breath while she talks to him.
Kareena Kapoor Khan responded to this by saying she gives him all the gossip and he does not listen. The couple appeared together on the show for the first time in 16 years, having previously appeared in Season 3 in 2010.
