Lionel Messi spotted with bag missing Paris Saint-Germain crest
The Inter Miami player was seen with a personalised accessory featuring crests of other clubs and the Argentina national team.
Inter Miami player Lionel Messi was recently seen arriving at training facilities carrying a personalised black bag that features several football crests, according to the Times of India.
The accessory displays the badges of Barcelona, Newell's Old Boys, Inter Miami, and the Argentina national team. However, the crest of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was notably absent from the collection.
Messi played for the French club for two seasons between 2021 and 2023. The omission has led to social media discussion, with some supporters suggesting the missing badge is a deliberate snub to the club.
Messi has not explained the selection of the crests or indicated if the omission carries any meaning. There is no confirmation that the choice was intended as a message to PSG.
During his time in Paris, Messi recorded 32 goals and 34 assists in 75 appearances. He won two Ligue 1 titles and the 2022 Trophée des Champions while at the club.
The relationship between the Argentine and the club reportedly faced difficulties, including a two-week suspension in May 2023 after Messi missed a training session to travel to Saudi Arabia for a promotional commitment.
