The actor, who appears as Lord Hanuman in a post-credit scene, urged all Indians to watch the Nitesh Tiwari film.

Actor Sunny Deol shared his positive review of the film Ramayana: Part 1, which was released in theatres on November 5. According to reports from Hindustan Times and The News Mill, Deol expressed his admiration for the production on Instagram on Saturday.

The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, features a post-credit scene where Deol makes his debut as Lord Hanuman. While his face is not shown in the scene, he is seen flying with a gada while the chant 'Jai Shri Ram' is heard. The sequence includes the Hanuman Chalisa, sung by Diljit Dosanjh, Sukhwinder Singh, Mohit Chauhan, Kailash Kher, and Anirudh Ravichander.

Ramayana: Part 1 stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanaka, Arun Govil as Dasharatha, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Shobana as Kaikashi, and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari. Anupam Kher provides the voice for Jatayu.

The first installment covers Ravana's backstory, Ram's childhood, his marriage to Sita, and his 14-year exile. A second part of the cinematic adaptation is expected to arrive in 2028.
