Sofía Vergara returns for St. Jude holiday campaign launch in 2026
The actress joins other celebrity supporters to raise funds for childhood cancer research and medical care through the annual fundraising initiative.
Actress Sofía Vergara will return for the October 2026 launch of the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign, according to a Times of India report. Vergara has been a supporter of the initiative for 15 years.
The campaign aims to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fund research for childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The funds also assist with medical care and support for patients and their families.
Vergara will join longtime supporters Drew Barrymore, Luis Fonsi, Jon Hamm, and Michael Strahan. These ambassadors filmed campaign spots alongside patients to create a personal connection.
The hospital, which opened in 1962, stated that its research has helped raise the US childhood cancer survival rate from 20 per cent to more than 80 per cent.
Ike Anand, president and CEO of ALSAC, said the 23-year-old campaign helps accelerate research and treatment so children can reach milestones and make memories.
Donations are collected through online gifts and the sale of limited-edition products at various retailers, including Target, which is rejoining the campaign for the first time since 2013.
