Filming for the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 has been paused for the last week due to health concerns regarding Amitabh Bachchan, according to a report by Times of India.
The makers have temporarily stopped recording new episodes because the 84-year-old actor has not been keeping well.
During this period, the channel has been broadcasting older episodes featuring celebrity guests as part of a Diwali special week.
The most recent major celebrity episode featured Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravi Dubey promoting their upcoming film Ramayana.
While that episode was originally intended to air alongside the film's release, the schedule was changed due to the actor's health.
The channel instead used the Ramayana episode to kick off its Diwali programming last week.
A source told IANS that filming is expected to restart next week, provided the actor's health permits.
In a blog post on Saturday, Bachchan reflected on his gradual return to a work routine and expressed gratitude to his audience and well-wishers.
