Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor attend Ramayana special screening in Mumbai

Industry professionals and celebrities gathered at an IMAX theatre ahead of the film's theatrical release on November 5.

The makers of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One hosted a special screening for the film's cast, crew, and industry guests in Mumbai on November 3, according to reports by News18 and The Indian Express. The event took place at an IMAX theatre in Lower Parel two days before the film's scheduled theatrical release on November 5.

Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Rama, attended the screening wearing a maroon kurta with black trousers and black Chelsea boots. He was supported by Alia Bhatt, who wore a sea-blue or sea-green saree with an embellished blouse, and Neetu Kapoor, who arrived in a brown coordinated outfit.

Sunny Deol, who portrays Hanuman, was present in an all-white suit and sky-blue shirt. During the event, actor Ravie Dubey, who plays Lakshman, was seen touching Deol's feet as a mark of respect, a gesture noted by News18.

Other attendees included director Nitesh Tiwari and his wife, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, as well as producer Namit Malhotra and his wife. The cast and guests also included Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Kajal Aggarwal, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, who plays Indra.

The film previously had its world premiere in Los Angeles on October 27. The Indian Express reported that initial reactions were mixed, with some viewers praising the visual effects and performances while others felt the storytelling lacked emotional depth.
