The Chief Minister appealed for cooperation regarding the Musi River rejuvenation and Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II expansion during the Sadar Sammelan.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday sought the support of the Yadav community for major development initiatives in Telangana, according to The Hindu. Speaking at the Sadar Sammelan in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister requested cooperation for projects including the Musi Riverfront development, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II expansion, and the establishment of Bharat Future City.

Reddy stated that the government is committed to transforming Telangana into one of the most developed states in the country. He emphasised that the participation of all sections of society is essential to achieving this objective.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to the political empowerment and welfare of the Yadav community. He cited the nomination of Anil Kumar Yadav to the Rajya Sabha, the candidature of Naveen Yadav for the Assembly by the Congress, and the appointment of Eshwaramma Yadav to the Yadagirigutta Temple Board as examples of this commitment.

Reddy also mentioned that arrangements are being made to protect cattle at the goshala in Yadagirigutta. He noted that the government has sanctioned Rs 5 crore for the Sadar celebrations and has accorded the event the status of a State festival.

Highlighting the community's historical role, the Chief Minister recalled that the Golconda Fort was once popularly known as Gollamkonda. He also claimed that the caste census conducted by the State government has emerged as a model for the rest of the country.
