TNPSC extends Group 4 recruitment application deadline to November 8
The extension follows a Tamil Nadu government decision to increase the maximum age limit for candidates by five years across all categories.
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the Group 4 recruitment examination 2026, according to The Telegraph India.
Eligible applicants can now complete the application process until November 8, moving from the previous deadline of November 5. The commission issued a press release on November 4 regarding the extension.
The decision follows a move by the Tamil Nadu government to raise the maximum age limit by five years for candidates in all categories. This recruitment drive seeks to fill 6,574 vacancies across various services and departments.
Applicants must first complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the official website, tnpsc.gov.in, before filling out the examination-specific form. The written examination is scheduled for January 10, 2027.
The commission will provide a correction facility for candidates to rectify errors in their submitted forms. This facility will be available on the official website from November 9 until November 11.
