The State cooperative department will offer a bundle containing 10 different vegetables through mobile carts in Chennai.
The State cooperative department will sell a vegetable package for Rs 100 through four mobile vegetable carts between November 5 and 7, according to a report by Deccan Chronicle.
The government announced on Wednesday that these packages are being provided for Deepavali.
The Rs 100 bundle includes 500 grams each of onions and tomatoes, along with 250 grams each of potatoes and brinjal.
The package also contains 200 grams of beans and carrots, 100 grams of lemon and green chilly, 50 grams of ginger, and between 400 to 450 grams of coconut.
