Nine-year-old Bhumika Malathesh Iter achieved the milestone by uploading her musical performances to a YouTube channel.
Bhumika Malathesh Iter, a nine-year-old singer from Haveri, Karnataka, has been recognised by the India Book of Records for performing 65 Kannada songs. According to the Times of India, the record was confirmed on August 19, 2026.
The young singer achieved this milestone at the age of 9 years, 10 months and 11 days. She documented her performances by uploading them to her YouTube channel, 'Bhumika_iter@littleSinger'.
The India Book of Records categorised her achievement under the maximum number of Kannada songs sung by a child. The recognition is based on the total number of songs she performed and shared online rather than a single live event.
Bhumika was born on October 8, 2016. Her digital collection includes various renditions of songs in the Kannada language, which she made accessible to a wider audience through her channel.
