Tamil Nadu CM Vijay and Trisha attend wedding reception in Chennai
The Chief Minister and actress Trisha Krishnan were among the guests at the wedding reception of YS Anil Reddy's daughter on Thursday.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan attended the wedding reception of YS Anil Reddy's daughter in Chennai on Thursday, according to reports by The Indian Express, Times Now and Moneycontrol.
Vijay, who was the guest of honour, attended the event alongside his mother, Shobha Chandrashekhar. Trisha, a former co-star of the Chief Minister, also attended the function.
The reception included several high-profile guests, including former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, BRS Working President Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao and his wife Shailima, and industrialist Gautam Adani. YS Anil is the cousin of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Videos of the event have circulated on social media, showing Vijay and Trisha walking towards the stage to greet the newlyweds and posing for photographs with the couple and Jagan Mohan Reddy. Vijay was dressed in a brown suit, while Trisha wore a pink embellished saree.
The two have recently appeared together at public events, including a wedding reception in March and at the Michelin Le Mans Cup in the United Kingdom in September. While there has been speculation regarding their relationship, the actors have denied any such rumours.
Vijay ended his acting career with the film Jana Nayagan, which released on July 23. He is currently devoted to his duties as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
