Jukkal MLA alleges verbal abuse by Health Minister in New Delhi
Laxmikantha Rao plans to file a complaint with the AICC and TPCC following a confrontation at a hotel in the national capital.
Jukkal MLA Laxmikantha Rao has accused Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha of verbally abusing him during a confrontation in New Delhi, according to Telangana Today.
The incident reportedly occurred in the lobby of Hotel Shangri-La while Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and other ministers were in the city for a party programme.
Laxmikantha Rao told his supporters that the Minister used objectionable language and threatened him with physical assault in front of party leaders.
The dispute between the two leaders stems from disagreements over the appointment of the Sangareddy DCC president and various other party roles.
The Minister reportedly disagreed with the Jukkal MLA's participation in making these party appointments. A few MLAs from Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts witnessed the event.
Laxmikantha Rao is now preparing to lodge a formal complaint with the AICC and TPCC to seek action against the Minister, party sources said.
