Yadav also accused Shastri of using inappropriate language and comparing Lord Krishna with Lord Ram. He stated that it was wrong to insult one deity to praise another, noting that both figures hold distinct importance in Sanatan Dharma.
The protesters claimed the remarks hurt the religious sentiments of crores of devotees. Yadav said that Lord Krishna represents values such as love, compassion, justice, courage, and the protection of dharma.
The workers have demanded that the police take the matter seriously and initiate legal action. Yadav said the protest will continue until action is taken against Shastri.
