Seven people died and one person was injured after an overspeeding truck ran over a crowd in Khunti district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed his sorrow regarding a road accident in the Khunti district of Jharkhand that resulted in seven deaths and one injury, according to ANI.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated on X that the Prime Minister offered his sympathies to the families of the deceased and hoped for the fast recovery of the injured person.
The Khunti Superintendent of Police (SP) said an overspeeding truck ran over several people who had assembled at a location following an accident involving a scooty rider.
