Indian influencer-boxer Manish Sharma, also known as Half Engineer, slapped Pakistani boxer Rahim Pardesi during a promotional face-off in Dubai, according to Moneycontrol and The Indian Express.
The incident took place at a promotional event for Fury by the Sea – MUKA Boxing. The two fighters were meeting face-to-face ahead of their scheduled bout on Friday, November 6, at Nikki Beach Dubai.
Reports on social media suggest that Pardesi allegedly attempted to provoke Sharma using gestures and trash talk during the interaction. The exchange reportedly became heated, leading Sharma to slap the Pakistani fighter on stage.
Security personnel intervened to separate the two fighters after the physical confrontation. Clips of the incident have since circulated on social media platforms.
The upcoming match between Sharma and Pardesi has gained significant attention due to the India-Pakistan rivalry. Sharma has built a following through his transition from a social media influencer to a boxer.
