Telangana aims to be country's first rapidly developed state, says Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy requested support from the Yadav community for major infrastructure projects during the Sadar Sammelanam in Hyderabad.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said on Wednesday that Telangana is working towards becoming the most rapidly developed state in India. Speaking at the annual Sadar Sammelanam in Hyderabad, he requested the support of the Yadav community to complete several flagship infrastructure projects.

According to reports from ANI and The News Mill, these projects include the Musi Riverfront Rejuvenation, the expansion of Metro Rail Phase-2, and the creation of the greenfield Bharat Future City. The Chief Minister stated that the community's backing is required to realise these development goals.

Reddy noted that the Congress-led government has maintained political representation for the Yadav community. He cited the elevation of Anil Kumar Yadav to the Rajya Sabha, the election of Naveen Yadav as an MLA, and the appointment of Eshwaramma Yadav to the Yadagirigutta Temple Board as examples of this representation.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that the state government sanctioned ₹5 crore for the Sadar festival and officially designated the Sadar Sammelanam as a state festival. He described the celebration as a symbol of self-respect for all people in Telangana.

Regarding social justice, Reddy said the state's comprehensive caste census has positioned Telangana as a pioneering model for the nation. He also highlighted cow protection initiatives at the official Goshala in Yadagirigutta and noted the historical connection between the Yadavs and the development of Hyderabad.
