INDIA bloc rally aims to protect infiltrators, says Amit Shah
The Union Home Minister accused the opposition alliance of prioritising alleged infiltrators over the rights of voters during a rally in Haryana.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah alleged on Thursday that the INDIA bloc's rally was intended to protect infiltrators rather than safeguard the rights of voters. Speaking at the ‘Loktantra Bachao’ rally in Karnal, Haryana, Shah criticised the opposition alliance.
According to The Indian Express, Shah claimed the alliance was prioritising the interests of alleged infiltrators.
In Madhya Pradesh, the Youth Congress has suspended 60 office-bearers for failing to attend the INDIA bloc rally held at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on November 1. The rally, which called for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, featured Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
The suspended group includes nine district presidents, five vice-presidents, 14 general secretaries, and 32 secretaries. The leaders cited reasons such as fever, weddings, deaths in the family, and the birth of a child for their absence.
The suspension order, issued on November 3, remains in effect until further notice.
