Kerala BJP chief tells Rahul Gandhi to go to Bangladesh

Rajeev Chandrasekhar accused the Congress leader of attempting to create anarchy in India through falsehoods.

Kerala BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Thursday told Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to move to Bangladesh, according to The Hindu. In a Facebook post written in Malayalam, the Nemom MLA accused Gandhi of trying to incite anarchy in the country.

Chandrasekhar suggested that if Gandhi wished to pursue such politics, he could take the Jamaat-e-Islami with him to Bangladesh. He asserted that the democracy of India is protected by the BJP and 140 crore Indians, and that Gandhi's ambitions would not succeed here.

The former Union Minister of State claimed that the Congress party has failed to gain public trust. He stated that voters would not back the party due to its performance in states including Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala.

The remarks follow protests by Opposition parties against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the central government. These protests concern the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and allegations regarding the removal of voters from electoral rolls.

Chandrasekhar further alleged that Gandhi is spreading falsehoods to distract the public and defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that the Congress lost the 2014 and 2019 elections and faced another defeat in 2024 despite using alleged false propaganda.
