Maharashtra CM accuses Rahul Gandhi of plotting regime change in India

Devendra Fadnavis alleged that Congress is attempting to establish an extreme Left-wing system similar to Nepal and Bangladesh.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of attempting to undermine the Indian Constitution and orchestrate a regime change in the country. Addressing a gathering in Nagpur on November 5, Fadnavis alleged that Gandhi is leading efforts to establish an extreme Left-wing system, similar to recent political upheavals in Nepal and Bangladesh, according to ANI.

Fadnavis rejected Gandhi's suggestion to take political battles to the streets, asserting that such fights will be conducted in Parliament as long as the Constitution drafted by Dr BR Ambedkar remains in force. However, the Chief Minister stated that the ruling alliance is prepared to mobilise supporters on the streets if challenged.

The Chief Minister also dismissed allegations regarding the revision of electoral rolls. He stated that three crore names were removed because those individuals had passed away and emphasised that illegal immigrants would not be allowed to cast votes in India.

Fadnavis questioned why the opposition only raises doubts about democracy when the BJP emerges victorious, citing the Congress win in Kerala as an example. He further alleged that Gandhi has brought an international conspiracy and called for vigilance against such anti-democratic thinking.
