Keralam BJP chief accuses Rahul Gandhi of attempting to create anarchy

Rajeev Chandrasekhar told the Leader of the Opposition to go to Bangladesh if he wishes to pursue anarchy.

Keralam BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of attempting to create anarchy in India on Thursday, November 5. According to reports from The Hindu and Deccan Herald, Chandrasekhar suggested that if Gandhi is interested in creating anarchy, he should go to Bangladesh and pursue politics there with the Jamaat-e-Islami.

Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, as reported by The News Mill, Chandrasekhar also described the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha as a “fraudulent politician” who uses manufactured issues relating to the youth to conduct his politics.

The Nemom MLA and former Union Minister of State alleged that the Congress party is using student protests to unleash violence and anarchy. He claimed the party is attempting to divert public attention by spreading falsehoods to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chandrasekhar criticised Gandhi's ‘Chhatron ki Goonj’ campaign, asserting that the Congress party neglects youth concerns in Keralam. He questioned why Gandhi conducts such programmes in other states but does not visit Keralam to address chronic unemployment.

The remarks follow protests by Congress-led Opposition parties against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the BJP-led government regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Chandrasekhar alleged the Congress changes its position on the SIR based on political convenience.
