Jukkal MLA alleges verbal abuse by Health Minister in New Delhi

Laxmikantha Rao claims the Minister used objectionable language and threatened him during a confrontation at a hotel in the national capital.

Jukkal MLA Laxmikantha Rao has alleged that Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha verbally abused and threatened him at a hotel in New Delhi. According to reports by The Hindu and Telangana Today, the incident occurred at the Hotel Shangri-La while several state leaders were in the capital for an INDIA Bloc rally.

The MLA claimed the Minister used filthy language and warned him of physical harm and political retribution. Laxmikantha Rao said the confrontation took place in the hotel lobby in the presence of several Congress leaders, including a City MLA and others from Rangareddy and Mahabubnagar districts.

The dispute reportedly involves the appointment of Chandrashekhar Reddy as the District Congress Committee (DCC) president of Sangareddy district. The Minister is believed to have objected to the MLA's involvement in party appointments, though the MLA denied any role in the process.

Laxmikantha Rao also stated the Minister held a grudge following his refusal to support sand mining activities involving a close aide of the Minister. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud were also in New Delhi at the time.

The MLA is now preparing to lodge a complaint against the Minister with the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). He is seeking action against the Minister regarding the matter, according to party sources.
