Yogi Adityanath accuses Congress and INDIA bloc of politics of anarchy

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister criticised the opposition's leadership ahead of a march in Gorakhpur.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday accused the Congress and the INDIA bloc of turning electoral defeats into a "politics of anarchy". According to ANI, the Chief Minister made these comments on X before joining a march in Gorakhpur.

Adityanath alleged that the opposition leaders lack clarity, capacity, and credibility. He stated that disrespecting the public mandate is a result of this mindset, claiming the alliance is setting new records of defeat in elections.

The Chief Minister said he would join the 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' padyatra alongside Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin. He noted the march aims to raise public awareness against anarchy and protect democratic dignity.

The padyatra is scheduled to start at noon from Maharana Pratap Inter College and end at the Mata Kali Temple near the Sardar Patel statue. This event is part of a nationwide BJP outreach campaign regarding law and order and democratic values.

Nitin Nabin is on a two-day visit to Gorakhpur on November 4 and 5. Following the march, Nabin will meet with intellectuals and the Uttar Pradesh BJP Core Committee.

On Thursday, November 5, Nabin will visit the Baba Gorakhnath Temple. He is also expected to meet with former public representatives and state office-bearers to discuss electoral strategies and campaign roadmaps.
