The Congress MP fulfilled a promise made to Priyanka Sengar during a youth outreach programme held in Indore in September.
Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has arranged medical treatment in Delhi for a student from Madhya Pradesh, according to reports by The Federal and Deccan Herald.
The student, Priyanka Sengar, had raised concerns about an eye problem during the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' programme in Indore on September 19.
Supriya Shrinate, chairperson of the Congress Social Media and Digital Platforms Department, stated on X that Sengar had suffered an eye problem in childhood after a lime fell into her eye, but her family's financial constraints had prevented treatment.
The Congress party shared a video on Tuesday showing Sengar looking out of an aircraft window while returning home by plane for the first time after her recovery.
The video was shared by Gandhi on X with the caption, "Thank you, Rahul Bhaiya Ji."
